Yesterday the farrier came to do the horses feet. Bella was first and she did splendid as always. It took 15 minutes. I let Savanna watch so that she could see that things were cool, and wouldn't be frightened. Savanna was next. I warned the farrier that I was unsure of how well she would do. He reassured me that it would be alright. She stood perfectly still for him and was such a love bug. The farrier told me that she had 3-4 months worth of growth on her. It took 15 minutes as well! The farrier told me that we have a really nice horse. After her peticure I turned her loose and she stood next to me for a minute and then put her head on my chest, as if to snuggle and say thank you. She has done this once before after I brushed her. She really craves that attention and adores the fact that we give it to her. Poor baby just needs love.
And I will support you with comments as well Dear Sister!
I will try to call Mom during church. Nothing would surprise her more than to hear the Adam's family ring!
And more pics of the new horse please!
