Prayers

So. I know it has been a while since my last post. Sorry for that. There has been a lot going on that has kept me preoccupied. There are a couple of people that are close to Richard and I in the hospital. One is doing okay and holding his own, one is losing ground. Those of you who attended expressway during my teen years would probably know him. His name is Jorge Perez. He grew up to be a miami dade police officer. He was involved in a severe motorcycle accident that has put him in a coma for two weeks now. He was not wearing a helmet, and was going about 70 when he wiped out. The police said it was a mechanical failure on the bike. Needless to say there is brain damage and skull fractures. Today he took a turn for the worse. There is fluid in his lungs and his blood pressure is really low. Please pray for him and his family. This is a childhood friend of Richard's that I have known since I was 13. He is the daddy of two little ones. One is 3 yrs old and the other is a few months old. Sorry to post such a down one this time, but he needs all the prayers he can get. Makes you really greatful for the time that you have with your loved ones, since we are not promised tomorrow.
