Well the boys and I are having fun now! Nathan woke up with a fever on Thursday, so I kept him home. Friday he went to school, tried to call me, but the nurse was not there so they kept him in school. When I got home Friday he felt so bad, he was crying. I gave hime motrin and Saturday he seemed to be doing better. Then the rash developed. I knew then, putting all his symptoms together, that he most likely had strep. Sunday, today, he woke up and still had the fever and his brother did as well. Also complaining of a sore throat. I took them both to the emergency room to get them checked out. Turns out they both have strep. Well, it is a two for one deal. We are all staying home tomorrow, then hopefully, everyone will be alright. On the way home we stopped at the gas station for ice cream and the newspaper. Matthew went in with me while Nathan and my mom stayed in the car. On the way to there Matthew had been saying theat he was gonna throw up. But he didn't sound serious. Itold him to quit saying it and he did. The next thing I knew I was paying for my items and I heard this little voice say " I told you so". I looked down and saw Matthew with his little hands cupped holding, well you get the point. I asked the girl for some napkins, and she just looked at me like I was speaking a different language. Then I saw Matthew dry heave. I rushed him out side and to the trash can. THe woman said on the way out, " oh is he sick?" Well guess that she will figure it out when she sees the floor in front of the counter. He is resting on the couch now and feels better. The both have antibiotic in them and hopefully will be well and less cranky really soon.
To Ranger:I don't know. Like I said, it kinda left a mark on me. Back then all there was to rid the car of the smell only faintly masked the odor that seemed to lurk for weeks.

To Sarah: How did you know that was the car I had in mind? Now we have Timsen and Febreze.

Hopefully, by now M. and N. are feeling better. Mom's TLC, a warm bed, medication, and time seem to heal just about anything.

Thank goodness I took him in the store. It would be like mamas' car all over again. Remember the pizza? Yeah, I was sitting right next to her when that happened. Kind of leaves an impression on a young one.

M. is the only little man I know who can threaten to blow chunks in such a sweet voice that one completely discounts the liklihood. Until the event happens. Then you feel awful! Glad they're feeling better.

Not in the car, praise the Lord. Poor guys. Poor mom and grandmother. I hope this is the end of the strep-run for you all.
